15,000 First Dates Later…

I have wanted to write this book for a long time, but like many other people, I never seemed to find the time to do so.  Despite my best intentions, something else always seemed to take priority and require my attention.

After the birth of my second child, however, I decided to stop procrastinating. I had some extra time during the ‘confinement period’ (Chinese tradition of staying at home for a month after childbirth), so it made sense to do something productive (of the literal kind, I mean). In other words, I decided to ‘just do it’!

Before you move on in this book, though, let me warn you about something important:

This is not a politically correct book.

I am not going to beat around the bush, I am not going to just tell you the easy things you want to hear, and I am not going to gloss over the hard truths about meeting and finding the right man for you. There are already thousands of books and articles on matters of the heart, so there’s no need for me to add to the cacophony of feel-good materials.

This book is, quite frankly, about the truth and sometimes the truth might hurt! I am not going to mince words, tread lightly, or attempt to soften the blow. The reason is, these hard but important truths make the difference between success and failure when it comes to meeting and finding the right man.
